People have been telling me for years that I should write about my unlikely journey through hip hop. I’ve been involved on and off in the rap industry for almost 30 years and have seen and heard and smelled a lot. I guess it’s time to write about it. Though I befriended and worked with many artists before Wu-Tang--much love to Native Tongues, LONS, Naughty, Cypress, Fu-Schnickens, DAS Efx, Redman, etc.--none embraced me as the Clan did. They were the first ones to utter the words “You’re family, Soph.” In short, they claimed me and never let go. So this blog is dedicated to my musings on life in general, as a Korean Canadian French Lit major who was RAISED BY WU-TANG.
